KUWTK': Kim Kardashian Mocks Scott Disick for Taking Bella Thorne to Cannes: 'They Looked So Desperate'

Scott Disick has never handled his breakup with Kourtney Kardashian particularly well, but on Monday's Keeping Up With the Kardashians, viewers got a look at just how crazy their relationship drama can get. In an effort to get out of Los Angeles and take in some foreign culture, Kourtney decided to fly to France for the annual Cannes Film Festival, where she'd also get a chance to enjoy an idyllic getaway with her new man, Younes Bendjima. But for Scott, the trip seemed to be more of a slap in the face, and he went a little too far with his reaction to the news that Kourtney was going on a romantic getaway. "We got into like, a full war," Kourtney revealed to her sisters, Kim and Khloe Kardashian, recounting a series of phone calls and text message conversations the former couple had recently had. "He was like, 'You're gonna have a great time,'" Kourtney said, imitating Scott's sarcastic tone. "And then he's threatening me now. H

Guardiola hails Man City’s magnificent seven

Image
Pep Guardiola believes Manchester City produced the best performance of his reign in their swaggering 7-2 thrashing of Stoke City on Saturday. Kevin De Bruyne was outstanding, producing two assists and playing a part in three more goals as City scored seven goals for the first time since Guardiola took charge in July 2016. It was the first time City had scored that many in a league match since defeating Norwich 7-0 in November 2013, with Gabriel Jesus scoring twice, and further goals from Raheem Sterling, David Silva, Fernandinho, Leroy Sane and Bernardo Silva. Victory put City two points clear at the top of the Premier League, and left Guardiola struggling to find fault, although he was disappointed that his side conceded goals either side of half-time, with Stoke’s first from Mame Biram Diouf, and the second a Kyle Walker own goal. “You can always do better but I cannot deny that today was the best performance since I arrived here. We played a good 45 minutes, and maybe more than

But in a chat with Sunday Scoop, she explained why she decided to celebrate her special day that way. She said, “Growing up as a little child, I always had to celebrate my birthday like that. Instead of cake, my parents would only provide biscuits and I would hold a knife to it as if I was cutting a real cake. It wasn’t until I was five years old that I celebrated my birthday with a cake for the first time. I was so overjoyed at that and the memory still lingers. I was going through my childhood pictures this year when I saw a picture of me ‘cutting’ biscuit on my birthday and it brought back all the sweet memories of my childhoo

Evans, has petitioned the Police Service Commission, calling for the probe of the policemen who handled the case of his client. According to him, the team of police investigators, led by Mr. Abba Kyari, an Assistant Commissioner of Police, “forcefully and corruptly extorted” from Evans cash in local and foreign currency as well as various items including phones, wrist watches, jewellery, television, cars and trucks. Budding gospel singer, Victor Onuabuobi, aka Von Iyke, believes that even though secular artistes are more popular, gospel artistes in the country have also made giant strides over the years. In a chat with Sunday Scoop, he said, “I would like to start by saying that I bless God for what He is doing in the Nigerian gospel music industry today. It has really evolved over the years and to the glory of God, we have world-class gospel acts who have made and paved the way for upcoming artistes like myself to have a solid foundation on which we can carry on the mission. My mission in the industry is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ through the instrumentality of music and by the grace of God, reach out to the hearts of people by uplifting them with spirit-edifying songs of praise and worship.” Speaking on his new song, You are God, he said, “This song was written from a heart that is so overwhelmed by the immense power of God. It is really an ode to the King of kings, and to remind th

Monkeypox: DHQ breaks silence on allegations against Nigerian military

Image
Nigeria’s Defence Headquarters (DHQ) has urged Nigerians to disregard allegations about the spread of Monkeypox through military medical outreach. Director of Defence Information, Major General John Enenche, in a statement on Saturday explained that the medical exercise in the South East was a normal medical operation that had been replicated in other parts of the country. He said the Armed Forces of Nigeria has been in the global best military practice of impacting on the lives of Nigerians through medical outreaches. “In this regard, quick impact medical outreaches are usually conducted during deliberate operations such as the war against insurgency and terrorism in the North East and routine training exercise like Egwu Eke II in the South East among others” the statement read. “Particularly, the Nigerian Army on several occasions as afore-stated carried out medical outreaches in virtually all the geo-political zones of Nigeria without any observation in the past. “The same goes

The number of patients reported to be receiving treatment for the communicable monkey pox, which broke out in Yenagoa, has risen from 11 to 13, newsmen report. The 13 patients, including a medical doctor and a 17-year-old boy suspected to be infected with the monkeypox virus currently isolated at the Niger Delta University Teaching Hospital (NDUTH), are responding to treatment and are at various stages of recovery. Prof. Ebitimitula Etebu, Bayelsa Commisioner for Health, who addressed a news conference on Friday, along with his Information counterpart, Mr Daniel Iworiso-Markson, said that there was no cause for alarm as the state had taken steps to curtail further spread. Etebu had on Thursday put the figure of affected patients at 11. The commissioner said that more than 50 others, who had contact with the quarantined patients, had been traced and placed under surveillance. He however, added that two of the infected patients earlier isolated, had been treated and discharged. NAN rec

Arsenal signing sends message to Gunners fans about Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez

Image
The Gunners are facing a battle to keep hold of their two prized assets with the January transfer window already starting to loom on the horizon. Ozil and Sanchez have both entered the final 12 months of their current deals and neither Arsenal player appears likely to sign a new contract at the north London club. Unsurprisingly, the Chile international has been heavily linked with a January move to Manchester City after his proposed summer transfer fell through on deadline day. Ozil wasn’t linked with many clubs during the summer but recent reports have suggested that Manchester United could look to reunite the World Cup winner with his ex Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho. Arsenal are in fifth place in the Premier League table following a return of three victories and one stalemate in their last four top-flight outings. Summer signing Kolasinac insisted that Ozil and Sanchez haven’t upset the atmosphere at the FA Cup holders despite the continued uncertainty surrounding their long-t

The Rise And Fall Of Nnamdi Kanu, By Shaka Momodu skytrendnews.com Oct 13, 2017 12:24 PM NNAMDI KANU, REFERENDUM, SENSELESS WAR Leader Of Biafra Seperatist Group, Nnamdi kanu. Credits: NAN I watched some videos of Nnamdi Kanu inspecting a guard of honour formed by his Biafran Security Service and the Biafran National Guard in military uniform recently. It gave me the chills. As if that wasn’t bad enough, he hoisted the Biafran flag, flaunted a Biafran passport and a coat of arms, etc. There is a video of him openly soliciting for money at the World Igbo Congress in Los Angeles in the U.S. to buy arms to fight Nigeria in 2015 before his arrest. Effectively, Kanu had created a sovereign state within a sovereign state. I don’t know any country in the world that would accept or condone this frontal challenge to its security and sovereignty. Certainly not the United States of America, not the United Kingdom or France. Did the Brits and the Yanks expect the Nigerian state to sit idly by as
