Peter Okoye tells Paul Okoye that he has moved on

It looks like the shade game between the Okoye brothers isn't coming to an end anytime soon, as Peter has responded to Paul's latest sub. On Friday, September 29, 2017, Paul took to his Twitter page to write what seemed to be a shade towards his brother, Peter, who is in the United States for a show, https://twitter.com/rudeboypsquare "Pls guys stop tagging me in any beer parlor or restaurants appearance in America.... am in Nigeria" Well, Peter got the message and wasted no time in responding back, he too took to his Instagram page where he shared a screenshot of his brother's tweet and captioned the post with a message to him.https://www.instagram.com/_u/peterpsquare/ "Pls enough of the shades my brother I have moved on. I have even called my self an up coming artiste. You are the song write and the voice of Psquare, the every every! No wahala pls allow me to have my peace showcase my self to the world and Enjoy with my family. And I am expecting you to do the same. It is not a competition and it is not healthy. My brother I have moved on. I am very sure we will definitely do songs again in future and I wish you all the best bro. At the beginning of the feud, it was seen as a mere family issue but now it looks like it has grown into a real feud among brothers.It would be recalled that the video where Peter, Paul, and Jude were seen almost fighting and exchanging insults shocked their fans and some are yet to come to terms with it. That video came out days after Peter Okoye had sent a letter of termination to their lawyer demanding for the dissolution of the group. According to Peter, he fears for his life and that of his family, claiming that Paul has been threatening his wife and family.He also said that he tried to resolve things with his brothers just to please the fans last year. The brothers agreed to release a video each to apologize to their fans which he did but Paul and Jude refused, thereby making him look like the bad guy in the eye of the public.

INEC withdraws motion for substituted service

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has withdrawn its motion seeking an order of the Federal High Court in Abuja allowing it to serve the recall petition on Kogi West Senator, Dino Melaye, through substituted means rather than personal service. Justice Nnamdi Dimgba struck out the motion after INEC’s lawyer, Mr. Yunus Ustaz (SAN), announced its withdrawal in court on Thursday. Ustaz also maintained on Thursday that Melaye had been “dodging” service, as an attempt by the INEC to serve Melaye during the Senate’s plenary on Tuesday also failed. The judge also directed that all issues pertaining to the case should thereafter be taken to the Court of Appeal. He noted that since Melaye’s appeal against the court’s September 11 judgment of the court had been entered at the Court of Appeal, all pending applications, including the ones filed by Melaye for stay of execution of the verdict, should be taken to the Court of Appeal.
